Time is money! Using faster Internet access will save you more than enough time to justify its cost, plus it will free up your phone line.
We currently provide DSL Internet access in central and western North Dakota, wherever DSL is available from Qwest or OrbitCom. The rates listed are for BTInet Internet access only, and do not include additional costs from Qwest/OrbitCom for DSL service on your phone line. Speeds are "up to" the listed speed - actual speeds may vary based on your computer hardware, phone line quality and network utilization.

A dynamic IP is an address that is assigned to your computer each time it connects to the internet. If the IP is dynamic, you will always have a different address each time you connect. This can cause problems if you want to allow other computers to locate your computer for gaming, web serving, or a voice over IP application to make long distance phone calls.
A static IP is an address that is assigned to your computer and doesn't change each time you connect to the internet. You will need this to connect with others for gaming, to do Web hosting locally on your computer or to be able to access your computer over the Internet (for example, PC Anywhere or FTP access).
