Fixed Wireless Internet service from BTInet finally brings high-speed Internet access to areas surrounding Bismarck/Mandan where high-speed access has not previously been available. We will do a free signal check to verify that you will be able to receive the service. How fixed wireless internet works

BTInet has access points in various locations around the Bismarck-Mandan area (see our coverage area). An antenna is physically attached to your home, that antenna makes connection with a signal being transmitted from our access point. The antenna pushes the signal through the ethernet cable that is run into your home to either your computer or a wireless router.

There is no phone line needed for this service. The ethernet cable and antenna are available for purchase or lease from BTInet. A wireless router is not required, but if you choose to utilize one in your setup it is your responsibility to purchase that equipment on your own. Setup of the wireless router is also your responsibility.
